SOUNDHEAD REAR
This is the rear of the Century soundhead shown in the the previous picture. What you see is a view of the rear side of R3 with pulley removed. Very old Century R3 soundheads are identical to new ones except they use bearings that require oiling. This is not realistic in today's low cost environment. We machine out the old bearings and provide correct geometry for a conversion. New-style shaft and bearings are able to be used and replaced normally. |
