MEET OUR STAFF

LOUIS

Louis is Secretary/Treasurer of Hadden Theatre Supply and the person you call for any kind of information about sound, projection, and all-around expertise. If you don't know a part number, ask Louis. Louis began with theatre equipment in college when he installed a complete Century booth at the University of Louisville WITHOUT MANUALS. In 1971 joined Altec as an equipment technician. Louis went into business for himself in 1974 as a theatre serviceman. Louis has been selling theatre equipment since 1976 .

Since then, Louis has experienced many changes in equipment from the technician's point of view. In the late 1970's Louis became one of the first theatre equipment dealers to embrace changes in sound quality including stereo sound, surround speakers, digital, etc. In fact, Hadden Theatre Supply has been selling Dolby equipment longer than any other dealer. In the 1980's and 90's Louis started manufacturing his own equipment: at first small parts, and then on to automation systems and more recently, parts to upgrade existing equipment to modern standards.

Louis enjoys helping theatre owners upgrade their sound equipment and he will even set up the equipment for them. Check us out.

ROSE

Rose has been with Hadden Theatre Supply since 1985. As office manager Rose is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the company. Rose is the person to contact for any Gemini, Lawrence Metal, OSRAM , and Wagner products and questions. Rose is in charge of all accounting procedures and will gladly answer any questions you might have concerning your account.

JANE

Jane has been with Hadden Theatre Supply since 1991. Along with answering the phone, Jane also works with pricing, purchasing, returns, checking the status of purchase orders, and domestic and international shipping. Jane is the person to contact for questions in these areas. If you wish to return a product, you will need to receive a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER. Jane is always cheerful and will do her best to help all customers the best way she can.

JAMES

James comes to Hadden Theatre Supply with a great deal of experience in the movie theatre field. In 1961 at the age of eleven, James started working at the Clinton Drive-In Theatre in Clinton, Tennessee where he operated the projectors and cleaned the concession stand. In 1967, James began as projectionist at the Lakewood Drive-In in Jeffersonville, Indiana and at the Clarksville Drive-In in Clarksville, Indiana. After working as projectionist at the Grant Plaza Cinemas in Jeffersonville, Indiana, for just two years, in 1974 James became one of the first manager-operators in the area.

James began working for Hadden Theatre Supply in 1986. James and Ed work together and do everything needed in the shop, but the things that James does most is to remanufacture Century and Simplex X-L projectors. He also cleans, inspects, and repairs any used equipment we sell, or equipment sent to us by a customer for repair. James' real expertise shows in the way he builds sound racks. EDDIE

Eddie has been employed at Hadden Theatre Supply since 1991. He brings more than forty-five years of experience in projection and other technical aspects of movie theatres. Like James, Eddie has worked in diverse roles - projectionist, manager, and technician.

One of Eddie's specialties at Hadden is intermittent movement service and repair. He also works in electronic service and repair. Eddie also recones JBL 15" and 18" speakers. Eddie and James work together to create our one-of-a-kind equipment for special theatre needs. For rebuilding and repair needs, contact Eddie.

LOUISE

Louise is President of Hadden Theatre Supply and Webmaster. In 1976 she and her husband Louis purchased Hadden Theatre Supply. For almost thirty years, Louis ran the company with behind-the-scenes advice from Louise, a high school English and psychology teacher. In 2004 she retired from education and joined the company. Louise is in charge of publicity and maintains our website.
